Company intelligence / Profile preview
KumoCare Peel York was a Canadian healthcare technology company and one of the legal entities behind KumoCare, a proprietary virtual care and telemedicine platform. The platform enabled physicians, personal support workers, and allied health providers to deliver remote and in-home care, with functionality including telemedicine workflows, health card validation, and payment processing. In June 2021, NeuPath Health announced an agreement to acquire Aidly Inc. and KumoCare Peel York Inc., the owners of KumoCare, and the transaction closed on August 17, 2021. The federal corporation KumoCare Peel York Inc. was subsequently listed as inactive after being amalgamated into Aidly Inc. on July 23, 2021. The business appears to have been commercial-stage digital health infrastructure rather than a therapeutics developer.
