Kuvartris Therapeutics is a Swiss biotechnology company specializing in the discovery and development of next-generation molecular glues for targeted protein degradation (TPD). The company was founded in 2023 as a spin-out from the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI) to commercialize the pioneering structural biology research of Dr. Nicolas Thomä. By leveraging high-resolution structural insights into E3 ubiquitin ligases, Kuvartris aims to design small molecules that can recruit disease-causing proteins for degradation by the cell's internal disposal machinery.
