Laboratoires Delagrange

Laboratoires Delagrange was a French pharmaceutical company known primarily for developing the hypnotic drug zolpidem ("Stilnox"/"Ambien") and other CNS drugs. It was acquired by Synthelabo in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Synthelabo later merged with Sanofi to form what is now known as Sanofi. The original entity no longer exists independently; its products are commercialized by Sanofi[1][8]. No current clinical pipeline as an independent entity. Zolpidem remains a widely used prescription medication globally under various brand names via Sanofi. No recent clinical results attributable to "Delagrange Laboratories" as a standalone organization.
