Laboratoires Fumouze is a historic French pharmaceutical and diagnostic company founded in 1867 by Armand Fumouze. The company is most famous for developing Stérimar, a pioneering seawater-based nasal spray that became a global leader in nasal hygiene. In 2006, the Stérimar brand was acquired by Church & Dwight, while the company's diagnostic division, Fumouze Diagnostics, was eventually integrated into the Groupe Batteur (Laboratoires Gilbert). Today, the Fumouze brand continues to operate as a specialized division focused on rapid diagnostic tests (POCT) for healthcare professionals, covering infectious diseases, immunology, and bacteriology.
