Laboratorios Rimafar

Laboratorios Rimafar was a Spanish pharmaceutical company that specialized in the development, manufacture, and commercialization of generic and branded generic medications. The company maintained a diverse portfolio of products targeting therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, and central nervous system conditions. In 2008, Laboratorios Rimafar was acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries as part of its $360 million acquisition of Bentley Pharmaceuticals. Following the acquisition, the company's operations were integrated into Teva's Spanish infrastructure to strengthen its market position in the region. The legal entity was eventually absorbed and extinguished in 2017.
