Labrador-Grenfell Health

Labrador-Grenfell Health was a regional health authority that provided a broad range of health and community services to the residents of Labrador and the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada. The organization operated three hospitals, three community health centers, and fourteen community clinics, serving a diverse population including Innu, Inuit, and Métis communities. Its service portfolio encompassed primary care, acute care, long-term care, and various community-based programs such as mental health and addictions services. In April 2023, Labrador-Grenfell Health was merged with the province's three other regional health authorities to form a single provincial entity, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. The region formerly served by the authority now operates as the Labrador-Grenfell Zone within the unified provincial system.
