Labstep

Labstep is a laboratory informatics software company that provides a cloud-based electronic laboratory notebook and connected R&D workflow platform for scientific organizations. Its software is designed to help scientists and product developers capture structured experimental data in real time, manage protocols, track inventory, connect instruments and external tools, and support compliance and IP protection. The platform is used across universities, startups, and industrial R&D organizations rather than as a therapeutic drug developer. Labstep was acquired by STARLIMS in August 2023 and continues to operate as part of STARLIMS' broader enterprise informatics portfolio.
