Lancaster Community Hospital was a 117-bed acute care facility located in Lancaster, California, serving the Antelope Valley region. The hospital provided comprehensive medical services, including emergency medicine, surgical services, and maternity care. It was acquired by Universal Health Services (UHS) in 1998 and operated as a key local healthcare provider for over a decade under their management. In November 2010, the hospital was officially closed as UHS transitioned its operations and staff to the newly constructed Palmdale Regional Medical Center. The facility played a vital role in the local healthcare infrastructure until its consolidation into the newer regional hub.
