Land O’Lakes International Development

Land O’Lakes Venture37 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that specializes in international agricultural development and food security. Rebranded from Land O’Lakes International Development in 2019, the organization is an affiliate of Land O'Lakes, Inc., one of the largest farmer-owned cooperatives in the United States. Venture37 leverages private-sector expertise to strengthen global agricultural market systems, improve crop and livestock productivity, and enhance food safety and nutrition in emerging economies. Since its founding in 1981, it has implemented over 300 projects in 80 countries, often in partnership with agencies such as USAID, USDA, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Its work spans competitive markets, resilient systems, and nutrition-secure communities, including specific health initiatives like HIV/AIDS service delivery and strategic information management.
