Founded as a collaborative venture by Harvard University, MIT, and industry leaders such as Cytiva and Fujifilm Diosynth, the company is designed to bridge the gap between academic research and clinical application for advanced therapies. Landmark Bio provides end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions, including process development, analytical sciences, and GMP-compliant production for cell therapies, gene therapies, mRNA, and viral vectors. In April 2025, the company was acquired by Artis BioSolutions to scale its operational capabilities and support the next generation of genetic medicine.
