LDR Holding Corporation was a global medical device company specializing in the design and commercialization of innovative systems for spinal surgery. The company was best known for its Mobi-C Cervical Disc, the first FDA-approved device for both one- and two-level cervical disc replacement. LDR's product portfolio also included the Vertebridge platform, which featured integrated fixation technology for lumbar and cervical applications. In 2016, LDR was acquired by Zimmer Biomet for approximately $1 billion to strengthen its spine division.
