Leukaemia UK is a UK-based charity focused on accelerating research to improve outcomes for people affected by leukaemia. It funds life-changing research, raises public awareness, and advocates for better access to therapies and care. Despite progress, leukaemia remains a significant health challenge in the UK, with about half of patients surviving beyond five years post-diagnosis. The charity supports a broad range of leukaemia types, including acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), and chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML). Leukaemia UK does not directly develop or commercialize therapies but funds academic and clinical research, supports specialized treatment suites, and provides psychological and emotional support for patients and families.
