Lifeline of Ohio

Lifeline of Ohio is a non-profit organization designated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as an Organ Procurement Organization (OPO). Serving 38 counties in Central and Southeast Ohio and two counties in West Virginia, the organization coordinates the recovery of organs, eyes, and tissues for transplantation. Lifeline of Ohio works closely with donor families, hospitals, and transplant centers to facilitate life-saving and life-enhancing procedures. In addition to clinical operations, the organization provides public education and advocacy to increase donor registration. It also operates a dedicated Donor Care Center to streamline the recovery process and provide specialized care for donors.
