Prior to acquisition, LifeWatch was a leading provider of ambulatory cardiac and remote patient monitoring services in the US and internationally. Its platforms were used by millions of patients for real-time ECG-based arrhythmia detection and home sleep apnea testing. The company also integrated new digital health technologies such as mobile ECG devices through partnerships. No drug clinical results—company focused on diagnostics/devices. Notable R&D included integration with AliveCor’s FDA-cleared mobile ECG technology and acquisition of FlexLife Health for web-based INR monitoring. As of its last independent valuation before acquisition (~2017), it was valued at ~$250 million. Now operates as part of BioTelemetry/Philips Healthcare. No active drug pipeline.
