Company intelligence / Profile preview
A pilot phase I clinical study in 20 patients with advanced corneal disease showed strong efficacy signals. Fourteen participants who were legally blind prior to implantation regained vision and none remained legally blind at two years’ follow-up. The implants are safe, effective, and can be stored up to two years before use. Larger trials are planned to support regulatory approval.
