Overview
LNS8801, the lead candidate, is an orally bioavailable small molecule GPER agonist. In phase 1/2 trials, it has shown safety, tolerability, target engagement (GPER activation, c-Myc depletion), and preliminary clinical benefit in advanced cancer, particularly metastatic cutaneous melanoma. Orphan drug designation has been granted. A randomized pivotal trial in melanoma progressing after checkpoint inhibitors is planned.
