Lion Therapeutics

Lion TCR, also referred to in corporate records as Lion Therapeutics Pte. Ltd., is a Singapore-based clinical-stage biotechnology company developing mRNA-encoded T cell receptor engineered T cell therapies for viral-related cancers and chronic viral infections. Its lead program, LioCyx-M004, is an autologous HBV-specific TCR-T therapy for HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma, and the company has reported FDA clearance to begin a global multicenter Phase 2 trial in 2025. The company originated as a 2015 spin-off from A*STAR and has built a proprietary TCR library, cell engineering capabilities, and GMP manufacturing infrastructure to support clinical development. Lion TCR positions itself around TCR discovery, autologous and allogeneic TCR-T approaches, and gene-editing-enabled next-generation cell therapies, with a geographic focus centered on Asia and expansion into the U.S. and Europe.
