Liverna Therapeutics is a Chinese biotechnology company specializing in the development of innovative mRNA-based vaccines and therapeutics. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Zhuhai, the company has established a comprehensive mRNA technology platform that integrates sequence design, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems, and large-scale manufacturing. Liverna's pipeline is led by its COVID-19 mRNA vaccine candidates, including LVRNA009 and bivalent boosters, which have reached Phase 3 clinical trials. In 2021, the company was acquired by AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd., becoming the core mRNA research and development arm for one of China's largest vaccine producers.
