Los Angeles ORT College

Los Angeles ORT College was a private, non-profit vocational junior college based in Los Angeles, California, and part of the global World ORT educational network. Established in 1942, the institution provided career-oriented training in fields such as medical assisting, medical office management, and clinical laboratory assistance, alongside business and technology programs. The college officially ceased new student enrollment in January 2020 and has since undergone restructuring and campus closures. Its healthcare curriculum was designed to equip students with the technical skills and certifications required for entry-level roles in the medical and healthcare sectors. As a non-profit entity, it focused on providing affordable STEM and vocational education to the multicultural communities of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
