Lovelace Scientific Resources (LSR) was a specialized contract research organization (CRO) that provided Phase I-IV clinical trial services with a primary focus on respiratory and infectious diseases. Originally an affiliate of the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, the company offered comprehensive site management, patient recruitment, and specialized pulmonary diagnostic services. LSR was recognized for its deep expertise in aerosol delivery systems and the management of complex clinical protocols for pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors. The organization operated multiple clinical sites and was a leader in the evaluation of inhaled drug products. In 2011, LSR was acquired by DaVita Clinical Research, a division of DaVita Inc., to enhance its specialty clinical trial offerings. Following the acquisition, its operations were integrated into DaVita's clinical research portfolio.
