LSU Healthcare Network

LSU Healthcare Network is the faculty practice organization of LSU Health New Orleans, operating as a private, not-for-profit, multi-specialty healthcare delivery system in the Greater New Orleans area. The organization provides outpatient primary care, specialty care, diagnostics, and care coordination across more than 30 specialties through clinics staffed by LSU Health Sciences Center faculty. In addition to direct patient care, LSUHN supports LSU’s missions of medical education, resident training, and research. The network works closely with affiliated health systems including LCMC Health and Ochsner Health for hospital-based outpatient care. It is best characterized as an academic healthcare provider rather than a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company.
