Lucera is a Heidelberg, Germany-based TechBio company that launched in June 2026 after investors acquired the pharmaceutical technology business of Molecular Health and transferred those assets into a newly formed entity. The company provides AI-driven decision intelligence for biopharma research and development rather than developing its own therapeutic pipeline. Its core asset, Dataome, is a semantically integrated biomedical knowledge base and knowledge graph used to support target validation, indication prioritization, biomarker identification, patient stratification, clinical trial design and simulation, safety assessment, and portfolio evaluation. Lucera serves pharma, biotech, CRO, consulting, and investment clients and began operations with an interdisciplinary team drawn largely from Molecular Health.
