Lucid Psychss

Lucid Psycheceuticals (officially Lucid Psychss Inc.) is a Toronto-based biopharmaceutical company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of FSD Pharma, specializing in the development of therapies for neurodegenerative and mental health disorders. The company's lead program, Lucid-MS (Lucid-21-302), is a first-in-class neuroprotective small molecule that inhibits hypercitrullination to prevent demyelination in Multiple Sclerosis and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials. Lucid also developed Lucid-Psych (Lucid-201), a psychedelic-inspired compound for Major Depressive Disorder, and UNBUZZD, a formulation designed to mitigate the effects of alcohol consumption. The company leverages a platform of new chemical entities licensed from the University Health Network (UHN) to address Total Brain Health. Following its acquisition by FSD Pharma in 2021, the company has streamlined its focus toward the clinical advancement of Lucid-MS and the commercialization of UNBUZZD.
