Lukare Medical

Lukare Medical was a medical technology company focused on developing innovative diagnostic and monitoring tools for acute care settings. The company's flagship product was the Compass digital pressure transducer, a sterile, disposable device designed to provide rapid and accurate measurements of intra-compartmental pressure (ICP). This technology was specifically developed to aid in the early and precise diagnosis of compartment syndrome, a critical condition often resulting from trauma or orthopedic injury. In 2013, the company sold the Compass product line and its associated technology to Centurion Medical Products, which was later acquired by Medline Industries. Following the sale of its primary assets, Lukare Medical also explored the development of Humidi-Stat, a device for monitoring the microenvironment of healing wounds, before eventually ceasing operations.
