Lumeda is a private, clinical-stage medical technology company developing intraoperative photodynamic therapy solutions for thoracic and abdominal cancers. The company's lead platform, DigiLum, combines AI-driven photonics instrumentation, real-time light monitoring, and closed-loop light dosimetry to improve the precision and practicality of photodynamic therapy during surgery. Lumeda is initially focused on advanced lung cancer with pleural disease and advanced or recurrent colorectal cancer, and its clinical strategy includes both stand-alone intraoperative PDT and PDT combined with immune checkpoint inhibition.
