Luminary Labs is an independent strategy and innovation consultancy founded in New York City in 2009 by Sara Holoubek. The firm specializes in helping large organizations—including major pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Merck as well as government agencies such as NIH—tackle complex problems at the intersection of healthcare/life sciences, digital transformation, diagnostics development, education infrastructure modernization, climate/nature initiatives using AI technology solutions among others. They are particularly recognized for designing high-impact open innovation programs such as prize competitions to accelerate advances in diagnostics/vaccines/bioelectronic medicine/public health challenges but do not themselves develop drugs or medical devices nor operate their own R&D pipeline.
