Luminate Accelerator

Luminate Accelerator is the world's largest business accelerator for startups with optics, photonics, and imaging (OPI) enabled technologies. Based in Rochester, New York, the program is managed by NextCorps and supported by New York State's Finger Lakes Forward initiative. Luminate provides early-stage companies with significant seed funding, mentorship, and access to specialized laboratory resources, with a heavy emphasis on MedTech and life science applications. The accelerator aims to commercialize OPI innovations to solve complex challenges in medical imaging, diagnostics, and surgical guidance. Since its inception, it has supported numerous cohorts of high-tech hardware startups, bridging the gap between laboratory research and commercial success.
