Lumos Pharma

Lumos Pharma is a rare-disease focused biopharmaceutical company centered on developing LUM-201, an oral small-molecule therapy for pediatric growth hormone deficiency. The company has positioned LUM-201 as a potential alternative to injectable growth hormone by stimulating endogenous growth hormone release through the growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Lumos reported positive Phase 2 data from its OraGrowtH210 and OraGrowtH212 studies and announced alignment with the FDA on the design of a global Phase 3 trial. In October 2024, Lumos agreed to be acquired by Double Point Ventures, and the transaction was completed in December 2024, taking the company private. Following the acquisition, Lumos has continued to operate as a standalone rare-disease company focused primarily on advancing LUM-201.
