Lusíadas Saúde

Lusíadas Saúde operates a large network of hospitals and clinics throughout Portugal. It has been recognized for excellence in clinical care and innovation. The group has received six Joint Commission International accreditations for quality and safety. It does not develop drugs or therapeutics but participates in clinical research as a site. In 2022 it was acquired by Vivalto Santé, one of Europe’s largest private healthcare groups. The company manages over ten health units including major hospitals in Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Amadora and Albufeira. It covers more than one million inhabitants with over 7,000 professionals including physicians and nurses. Active in clinical trials as an investigator site with several ongoing studies.
