Lutheran World Relief

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) is an international non-governmental organization focused on sustainable development and disaster relief, with a significant emphasis on global health. While not a traditional biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, LWR manages large-scale health interventions targeting malaria prevention, maternal and child health, and nutrition in underserved regions. The organization operates extensively across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, partnering with local communities and international donors to improve health infrastructure and emergency response. In 2020, LWR merged with IMA World Health to form Corus International, an ensemble of organizations that integrates health services with rural economic development to address poverty and disease holistically.
