Company intelligence / Profile preview
Luxor Developments Inc. was a Canadian capital pool company (CPC) that served as a public vehicle for the reverse takeover of Amorfix Life Sciences Ltd. in September 2005. Following the transaction, the combined entity focused on the development of therapeutic antibodies and diagnostics for misfolded protein diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The company eventually evolved into ProMIS Neurosciences, which continues to advance a pipeline of selective antibody therapies targeting toxic oligomers. Luxor Developments itself did not maintain an independent drug pipeline prior to the merger, as its primary function was to facilitate the public listing of a life sciences business.
