Lyell Immunotherapy

Lyell Immunopharma is a clinical-stage cell therapy company focused on developing curative T-cell therapies for solid tumors. The company leverages its proprietary Gen-R and Epi-R technology platforms to address the major hurdles of T-cell exhaustion and lack of functional persistence. Their lead program, LYL797, is a ROR1-targeted CAR-T cell therapy currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for triple-negative breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. Lyell also develops LYL119, a next-generation ROR1 CAR-T that incorporates both genetic and epigenetic reprogramming technologies. In late 2024, the company expanded its pipeline through the acquisition of ImmunoFree, adding novel assets designed to enhance T-cell activity in the tumor microenvironment. The company operates its own state-of-the-art cell therapy manufacturing facility in Bothell, Washington, to support clinical and future commercial production.
