Company intelligence / Profile preview
LSNE, short for Lyophilization Services of New England, was a U.S.-based contract development and manufacturing organization focused on sterile fill-finish, lyophilization, and related manufacturing services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers. The company operated FDA-approved manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe and supported clients from development through commercial production. Its capabilities centered on aseptic processing, freeze-drying, formulation support, and sterile injectable manufacturing rather than on an internal therapeutic pipeline. In October 2021, PCI Pharma Services announced the acquisition of LSNE, and the transaction closed in December 2021, after which LSNE became part of PCI's global CDMO network. As a result, LSNE is best understood today as an acquired CDMO brand/business rather than an independent operating biotech company.
