M.A. Gedney Company, commonly known as Gedney Foods, is a long-standing American food production company specializing in pickles, condiments, and preserves. Founded in 1881 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the company is famously known as the producer of "The Minnesota Pickle" and the State Fair line of products. While primarily a food manufacturer, the company has historically engaged in large-scale agricultural partnerships and distribution across the Midwestern United States. In 2009, the company was acquired by PMC Global, a diversified international management company, and continues to operate as a major regional brand in the consumer packaged goods sector.
