M.M.A. Tech has developed a novel acetabular liner made from Polyimide MP1™, designed to address wear, bone resorption, and implant shifting issues common with traditional polyethylene liners in hip replacements. The product has received CE approval and is ISO 13485 certified. Clinical studies are ongoing in New Zealand (100 patients) and Israel (15 patients), with the latter registered on ClinicalTrials.gov as NCT02503891 to support future FDA approval.
