Maad Pharmaceuticals

Maad Pharma (Darousazan Maad) is a prominent private-sector pharmaceutical company based in Iran, established in 1987. The company was founded by a consortium of over 700 pharmacists and is currently owned by these individuals along with 15 Iranian pharmaceutical companies. Maad Pharma operates two primary divisions: a dedicated facility for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant for finished dosage forms. Its commercial portfolio focuses on nutritional supplements and essential medicines, with well-known products such as Zincofer (a combination of iron, zinc, and vitamin C). The company is currently expanding its API manufacturing capabilities to further support the domestic pharmaceutical supply chain.
