MAbgene

MAbgene was a French contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the production of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Alès, France, the company provided comprehensive services including cell line development, process optimization, and GMP-compliant manufacturing. In 2007, MAbgene was acquired by the LFB Group (Laboratoire français du Fractionnement et des Biotechnologies) to bolster its industrial capacity for biotechnological medicinal products. Today, the entity operates as LFB Biomanufacturing, continuing to offer bioproduction services to third-party customers and supporting LFB's internal pipeline. The site is known for its expertise in mammalian cell culture and high-yield expression platforms.
