Mad River Medical

Mad River Medical, Inc. was a medical device company based in Plymouth, Minnesota, that specialized in the development of catheter-based technologies for vascular access and therapy. Founded in 2004, the company focused on creating innovative solutions for interventional cardiology and radiology to improve the efficiency and safety of vascular procedures. Its technology was designed to facilitate complex vascular interventions through advanced catheter designs. In July 2007, Mad River Medical was acquired by Teleflex Incorporated for approximately $10 million in cash. The acquisition allowed Teleflex to integrate Mad River's specialized technology into its global vascular access business unit.
