Madison Biotech (now Bharat Biotech Singapore) is a Singapore-based biotechnology company established in 2020 by Dr. Krishna Ella, the founder of Bharat Biotech. The company serves as the international research, development, and commercialization arm for Bharat Biotech's vaccine portfolio, most notably the COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin. It was founded to facilitate global sales, marketing, and clinical trial management for the group's products. The company gained significant international attention during investigations into vaccine procurement contracts in Brazil, where it was identified as the entity responsible for international invoicing and distribution for the parent company.
