Magellan Complete Care (MCC) was a managed care organization specializing in integrated healthcare services for populations with complex needs, including those eligible for Medicaid and Medicare. The company was notable for its 'whole-health' approach, which combined physical health, behavioral health, and pharmacy benefits into a single coordinated plan. In January 2021, MCC was acquired by Molina Healthcare for approximately $820 million. This acquisition allowed Molina to expand its presence in several key state markets and enhance its capabilities in managing high-acuity members.
