Maine Veterans’ Homes

Maine Veterans’ Homes is a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to providing long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative services to Maine's veterans and their eligible family members. Established by the Maine State Legislature in 1983, the organization operates six facilities across the state, offering specialized care including memory care, respite care, and hospice services. MVH is recognized for its high-quality clinical outcomes and veteran-centric approach, often receiving national awards for nursing home excellence. The organization operates independently of the federal VA but works in close partnership to ensure comprehensive support for the veteran community.
