Major Science is a commercial life science tools and laboratory instrumentation company that designs, manufactures, and markets equipment used in biotechnology, academic, and government research laboratories. The company is best known for its Winpact fermentor and bioreactor systems for microbial fermentation and cell cultivation, alongside electrophoresis, transilluminators, gel documentation systems, peristaltic pumps, and other general lab equipment. Founded in 1994, Major Science operates from Taiwan with additional offices in the United States, China, and India, and serves global bio-industry customers through direct sales, distribution, and OEM/ODM relationships. It is not a therapeutics developer; rather, it supplies research and bioprocess tools that support life science R&D and small- to production-scale bioprocessing.
