Malecare

Malecare is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit healthcare organization focused primarily on prostate cancer patient support, advocacy, education, and survivorship services. Founded in 1998, it operates large in-person and online prostate cancer support networks and has developed specialized programs for advanced disease, younger men, gay and bisexual men, and Black men affected by prostate cancer. In addition to peer support and patient education, the organization has built digital and innovation initiatives including the Cancer Academy e-learning platform, the Cancer Copilot AI chatbot, the CancerGraph symptom tracker, and the Start A Cure research crowdfunding platform. Malecare also participates in research and advocacy, including NIH/NCI-funded survivorship work and broader global prostate cancer alliance efforts. It is not a drug-development biotech or pharma company, but it is clearly a healthcare-focused organization active in oncology support and patient engagement.
