Manufacturing Centre

The Biologics Manufacturing Centre (BMC) Inc. is a Canadian not-for-profit contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the production of biologics and vaccines. Established as an independent legal entity in late 2022, the BMC operates a state-of-the-art, end-to-end GMP facility in Montreal that was originally commissioned by the National Research Council of Canada. The center provides a full suite of services including technology transfer, process development, cGMP manufacturing, quality control testing, and aseptic fill-finish. It is a key pillar of Canada's Biomanufacturing and Life Sciences Strategy, designed to ensure domestic supply of essential medicines and support the clinical development of innovative biopharmaceuticals for both academic and industry partners.
