Marquette Electronics

Marquette Electronics was a pioneering medical technology company specializing in diagnostic cardiology and patient monitoring systems. Founded in 1965 by Michael Cudahy and Warren Cozzens, the company became a global leader in electrocardiography (ECG) technology, credited with developing the first computerized ECG interpretation systems. Their product portfolio expanded to include stress testing systems, Holter monitors, and sophisticated bedside patient monitors for critical care environments. The company also developed clinical information systems to integrate and manage patient data across hospital networks. In 1998, Marquette Electronics was acquired by GE Medical Systems for approximately $808 million, forming the foundation of GE HealthCare's diagnostic cardiology and monitoring solutions business.
