UP Health System - Marquette, formerly known as Marquette General Health System, is a regional tertiary care hospital and the primary medical hub for Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The facility provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including advanced cardiology, oncology, neurology, and orthopedic care. In 2012, the system was acquired by Duke LifePoint Healthcare, a joint venture between Duke University Health System and LifePoint Health, transitioning it to a for-profit model.
