Marvin Research was an Italian contract research organization (CRO) that specialized in providing comprehensive clinical trial services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Founded in 1999 and based in Milan, the company focused on Phase I through Phase IV human clinical trials, offering expertise in protocol design, site selection, clinical monitoring, and data management. In 2009, Marvin Research merged with Phidea S.r.l. to form Phidea Marvin, a move that expanded its service capabilities and geographic footprint across Europe. The company served a broad range of multinational pharmaceutical firms, particularly in therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular disease, and neurology. Today, the legacy of its clinical data management technology continues through the Marvin eClinical platform, which is now part of the AB Cube Group.
