Maryland Science Center

The Maryland Science Center is a major non-profit educational institution and museum located in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Operated by the Maryland Academy of Sciences, it serves as a primary hub for informal science education, featuring three floors of interactive exhibits, a planetarium, and an IMAX theater. The center focuses on promoting STEM literacy through hands-on displays covering physics, astronomy, and biology, including the 'BodyLink' exhibit which explores human health and genetics. While it provides public health education, it is not a biotechnology or pharmaceutical research company. It is one of the oldest scientific institutions in the United States and serves hundreds of thousands of visitors and school groups annually.
