MasksOn

MasksOn is a Boston-based physician-led nonprofit medical device organization formed during the COVID-19 pandemic to design, manufacture, and donate emergency reusable personal protective equipment for clinicians. Its core product adapted full-face snorkel masks with custom connectors so they could be paired with standard hospital bacterial and viral filters when FDA-cleared PPE was unavailable. The organization collaborated with healthcare, academic, and manufacturing partners to scale production and distribute masks to hospitals, clinics, and emergency responders in the U.S. and internationally. MasksOn appears to be an operating nonprofit rather than a drug-development biotech or pharma company, and its work is focused on protective medical equipment rather than therapeutics.
