Overview
Maspex GMW was a major operating subsidiary of the Maspex Group (Grupa Maspex), one of the largest food, beverage, and consumer health companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Headquartered in Wadowice, Poland, the company operated a dedicated pharmaceutical and consumer health division, producing and distributing a wide range of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, dietary supplements, vitamins, and minerals. Its prominent health-focused brands included Plusssz (effervescent vitamins), Prenalen (pregnancy immune support), Bobolen (pediatric care), Verbascon (cold and flu remedies), and Dr. Vitt. In June 2023, Maspex GMW was officially merged into its parent holding company, Maspex Holding S.A., as part of a corporate restructuring.
